Addressing staff during a solemn assembly held at the Ministry’s conference room on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Hon. Ibanga explained that oneness and love are indices of development and growth and, as such, should be evident among Ministry staff.
The former Nsit Atai Council Boss posited that as a newly created Ministry, all staff members must bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in order to achieve the successes needed in delivering impactful humanitarian services to vulnerable persons in the state.
She called for teamwork among staff to enable optimal performance, urging them to embrace a results-oriented approach to discharging their duties.
"I want to grow with you, I want us to record successes together, and with God on our side, we will succeed," she said.
Reaffirming her commitment to service, she expressed profound gratitude to the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D., for the confidence vested in her and pledged her dedication to executing her responsibilities with distinction.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Eno Akpan, who took the Commissioner around the office, formally welcomed her and assured her of the staff’s unflinching support and alignment with her vision for the Ministry.
The Honorary Special Adviser to the Governor on Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Ime Essien, and the Special Assistant, Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, in their separate remarks, urged Ministry staff to cultivate a receptive attitude toward continuous learning to gain the necessary exposure for effective service delivery.
Exhorting on the theme "The Architect of Divine Speed," referencing Genesis 24:12, the Head of Accounts, Mr. Emmanuel Okon, said that God is the giver of grace for service, encouraging staff to depend on Him to function in their various offices.
