Gov Eno Tasks A’ibom Children On Hard Work, Faith In God

Governor Umo Eno has urged Akwa Ibom children to embrace hard work and faith in God to achieve greatness. Addressing pupils from Pegasus School, Eket, during an excursion to Government House, he shared the story of a young Bill Clinton, who was inspired by President John F. Kennedy and later became the U.S. President. The Governor emphasized that success requires dedication and commended Pegasus School for academic excellence, recognizing Henry Ndudu Ekong, who won a N15 million scholarship. He further supported Ekong with an additional N10 million for his university education.

He assured the pupils of his administration’s commitment to quality education, citing model schools being developed across the state. The visit, led by Mrs. Uwem Ene, aimed to expose students to governance, with support from Lady Helen Eno Obareki, who guided them through Government House facilities.
