Social Welfare & Protection Programs

Empowering Lives, Uplifting Communities

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Akwa Ibom State, is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities through well-structured social welfare and protection programs. One of our key initiatives is the supervision of social protection programs, including conditional cash transfers targeted at empowering the youth and other disadvantaged groups.
Our Focus Areas
The Social Welfare and Protection Unit is designed to provide financial support and social inclusion for the less privileged, unemployed youth, women, and other marginalized groups. Through this initiative, we aim to reduce poverty, promote self-reliance, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
